Ours is failing! :'D We just had a massive landslide in our back yard two days ago. Took out a good portion of the yard sploosh! Into our mini lake it went! Took out the stairs we had leading to the dock... and the dock. We got like, 9 inches of rain in one hour. Literally. I woke up and couldn't see across the road it was raining so hard. Mind you, I was awake for this whole damn storm. I got two hours of sleep that night. This was about 5:30am. Yes it was light out. So, mom gets up. all the sudden she's screamin'. First thought? 'Ho shit did a tornado go through without us hearing it?!' ....Yes. I'm serious. So I fly out of bed and out the back door. ...Half our yard is missing! ...May as well have been a tornado. So, for the past two days we've have monstrous equipment all around our house trying to solve our dilemma. They covered the entire hill with boulders. It was insane to watch. Then they covered those with some smaller rocks to help secure the bigger ones. Hopefully this all works because if we loose much more our house is going into the lake next. ._. But they did a really good job. The guys running those machines really knew what they were doing. So I think everything will be okay. We're going to let it settle now and see how it holds up.

We're lacking grass now as well. Those machines really took our our lawn. xD Easily replaceable though, ya know? Entire backyard? Not so much.

They broke a gas line today. I was laying in bed, already awake because of the loud noises outside (they started before 8 AM), and all the sudden my brother comes in the house, goes back to his room and he's like, 'I smell gas.' Sure enough, gas line broke right outside his window. My mom then proceeded to run through the house screaming for us all to GTFO OF THE HOUSE. Cause you know, one little spark and BOOM. Esplosion. Not good. But they shut it off and it was all fine.

This really all sucks because my momma was going to be getting her bathroom redone this week. Guess that's not happening now...Gawd that sucks. We have all the materials and everything. -Sigh.- Maybe in August or something. Cause we have family from Nevada coming for two weeks this July. No, Holly, you won't be in the way of this. My aunt with love you and so will my little cousin.

...Wow. My disaster story is long. How many of you read this crap? ...Holly you don't count. You know pretty much everything that goes on in my life already. So, that's my summer thus far. Exciting right? Haha I'll say. What else can happen, I mean, really?

Anyway, the fourth of July is comin' up. There's something exciting, FINALLY. I like my explosions. .w. You know... the controlled kind that come with bright colors and oh's and ah's. Not so much the idea of my house going BOOM. No thanks. Sounds like I'm still gettin mah way wif' Holly being here. >3 Yuuuuussss.
Our whole fourth of July isn't cancelled. We always have a horde of family camping out in our back yard. It's tradition. And then we usually do our own fireworks show. It's always awesome. We'll see this year I guess. xD; We go to the one in town though too and they usually do a good job. Whatever. As long as I get to see some fireworks and hang out with mah most awesomest friend during, I'm happy.

In other words, summer sucks so far but it'll hopefully start getting better in about a week. If it doesn't I don't know what I'll do.

Oh hey. One good thing about this whole ordeal. You know the lizard we lost? We foooouuuund him today! And he's fine! Actually, it was while one of the news teams were here. The reporter lady actually saw him. |D Yay for at least one happy thing!
